As we bring our series on the Ultimate Manifestor’s Code of Being to its conclusion, we now move to Tenet #7: Do What’s In Front Of You

In some of the earlier tenets, we addressed the difference between DOING manifestation and BEING the Ultimate Manifestor of your life. When you make this shift, it means you’re expanding your consciousness away from the “effect” which is your physical reality, to the “cause” which is Source (i.e your consciousness – where your TRUE power rests.)

Now then, our consciousness is comprised of our thoughts, words and ACTIONS. And so, one of the challenges seekers encounter as they expand from DOING to BEING lies in understanding how to relate to the necessary actions one must take in moving through life powerfully.

The key to our Code of BEING… is that we are always striving to be one with Source. Open and receptive to the Infinite power, grace, love, wholeness, joy and abundance that is always here.

We must operate from the assumption that we are always being guided to our highest good. That the highest good is here for us always. Our job is to accept and receive the abundance that abounds. For you see, there is no lack of abundance. Source has already provided it. That’s what is meant by “Ask and It is Given”. But just because it is given, doesn’t mean we are in a place to receive it. The experience of lack is on our end. Not on the end of Source.

So… when we take action there are only 2 ways of BEING.

1. Take action on that which is INSPIRING you.This is because Divine Guidance comes in the way of inspiration, OR
2. Simply DO what’s in front of you. (Because if you are seemingly not receiving inspiration, it means that what is in front of you is exactly what you need to be doing for your highest good.

This guidance is vital because the common trap many seekers fall into regarding taking action, is that they think they “should” be strategic, figure things out, or that there is a right or wrong way to approach something.

As soon as you get into “figure it out mode,” you have shut yourself off from Source. You are now trying to “make things happen,” according to your ego’s perception of reality. And you’re resorting to control energy, which is, quite simply, a whole bunch of unproductive resistance.

PRACTICE:

When you don’t know what action to take. When you find yourself asking, “What should I do?” and no guidance or inspiration reveals itself… DO WHAT’S IN FRONT OF YOU. And practice trusting that what you’re doing is exactly what you should be doing for your highest good.

AFFIRMATIONS:

• I am willing to be guided and inspired in all of my actions under all conditions.
• I accept and receive guidance and clarity regarding which actions to take at all times.
• I am willing to trust that what is in front of me to do is for the highest good!
• I am willing to feel safe, guided and peaceful as I surrender to Divine Guidance and Divine timing in all things!

Q: My sister suggests that maybe I should rephrase some of the wording of my goals – that the subconscious mind is very literal & picks up on all positive & negative statements, so instead of mentioning my illness struggles, I might be better off saying “I’m enjoying excellent health.” And instead of using the word cancer, I could just say “my dad is healthy & well on all levels….”  Advice?

A: What you manifest in your life is based on your VIBRATION.  Period.

The physical realm is a CREATION that is birthed from the realm of pure energy.  

There is only ONE CREATIVE LIFE FORCE behind every creation and that is Source Energy.  This means that nothing in our physical realm has power above and beyond this Ultimate Power.  (i.e.  your words, your subconscious mind, the experience of cancer, anything we “believe” causes cancer).  Nothing in this physical realm causes ANYTHING.  There is only ONE CAUSE.  And the cause of EVERY effect we experience is consciousness.

Everything that you could ever want, desire or imagine already exists as energy.  So there is nothing to create, there is nothing to attract, there is only SEEING what is already here.  How do we see it?  We put our attention on it.

Our attention is based not solely on what we THINK about it. It is based, actually more on what we FEEL about.  Our thoughts, feelings, words and actions all join together to comprise our vibration.

So, if it FEELS better to say “cancer-free” than to say “whole and healthy in every way”… then you want to use those words. 

The better you FEEL, the more IN ALIGNMENT with Truth and Source you are.  The worse you feel, the more out of alignment, in resistance and disconnected you are… essentially blocking the flow of Source Energy from your experience. 

The more Source Energy is flowing through your experience, the more abundance and well-being you are allowing.

NOW THEN… what can happen is that the more we contemplate the Nature of Higher Truth, your words may change.  Why?  Because cancer is not real.  It is a creation.  And the more you put your attention on Truth vs. the things we create, the more aligned you may become with the TRUTH that your father IS ALREADY health and wholeness and that there is really nothing to heal at all.

Wherever you are… the most important thing to remember is that Right and Wrong only exist in our limited physical reality.  Yet, in the realm of Higher Truth there exists only Alignment.

When seekers first learn about the basic premise on which the Law of Attraction is based, they get very excited: Your consciousness creates your reality, and if you focus your attention on what you want, that which you focus on will manifest in your physical reality.

Well this is true to an extent. But it is only the tip of the iceberg. And because many seekers initially miss the deeper principles that lie beneath the surface, they quickly become frustrated when their expectations of miraculous results fall short.

YOUR MANIFESTING ENERGY

You see, it is not enough to direct your attention on what you want only when you feel like it, while letting your vibration run amok when you’re not in the mood. If you want to master manifestation, you must understand that your “manifesting energy” is the sum-total of what you put into the Universe (i.e. your thoughts, emotions and actions). No, you don’t have to “be perfect” in terms of what you radiate. But you do have to be in alignment with what you desire more often than not. We manifest from the “balance” of our vibration. So, if you are in alignment with, for example, prosperity 49% of the time, and in alignment with scarcity 51% of the time… you won’t see a whole lot of progress. But, if you remain mindful and lean on some discipline, you will tip the scales. And when you align yoursel f with abundance more often than not, you’ll see results and build momentum.

Now then, the above example is easy to understand and apply because it is obvious. But let’s talk about a more advanced manifestation concept. This is where things get really interesting. And when a seeker is willing to go deeper with such subtle nuances and advance principles, they begin to realize their power as the Ultimate Manifestors of their lives in ways they only before imagined.

ACCEPTANCE

An advance manifestation student understands that the Law of Attraction isn’t about attraction at all. It is about ACCEPTING into your awareness that which is already here. How is this so? Because there is only One Source. It is whole and complete. Everything you could ever want or need already exists as energy. When you put your attention on an idea, concept or vision, you give form to Source Energy and it takes shape in the field of pure potentiality. In other words, when you ask, it is given. However, in order to RECEIVE that which has been given, you must ACCEPT it. You must become a vibrational match to that which you desire.

There are numerous ways that we block our receiving and one such way is that we are inconsistent with ACCEPTANCE. In the same way we must align with prosperity at least 51% of the time in order to experience it. We must align with ACCEPTANCE in order to receive. If you ACCEPT in your life only the things you like, but resist, reject, judge and push away that which you do not like, you will block the flow of ALL that is waiting for you in the energetic realm.

How do we ACCEPT more and more? We practice non-judgment. Yes, it is hard to accept things that cause us pain, frustration, and suffering. However, when we begin to consider that EVERYTHING in our experience is made of up the same substance – Source Energy – and that this energy is pure Divine Love – that it simply takes the form that we give it with our Infinitely Powerful Creative Mind – THEN, we begin to liberate ourselves from feeling as if we are at the mercy of circumstance. We begin to reclaim the power we’ve had all along!

And how exactly then do we suspend judgment and reclaim our power? A little willingness and some self-talk go a long way…

The next time something unpleasant or undesirable happens in your life, PAUSE. You can certainly react, feel, mentally complain if need be, but as soon as you realize you’re doing so… PAUSE. Once you do, then speak the Truth about the situation to yourself. The words don’t matter. The opportunity is to redirect your awareness to the higher truth of the situation. Use the following as a starting place, then trust yourself to contemplate and connect with what works for you.

SELF-TALK: SPEAKING THE TRUTH TO YOURSELF

“Oh… this situation (fill in the blank… flat tire, late client, canceled appointment, etc… ) is not good, is not bad, it simply IS. All events are neutral until I give them meaning, until I judge them. EVERYTHING is an expression of Source Energy. I accept it, exactly as it is. I choose to remember that the essence of it is the pure Creative energy of Source which is Love. I am willing to accept the Divine Love that exists right here, right now, into my experience… even if I can’t see it. Even if it is hard for me to believe there is Divine Love and Infinite Possibility in this situation. I ACCEPT good, well-being and abundance right now.”

Try it… you have nothing to lose and everything to gain… and I mean EVERYTHING!

One of the foundational principles that determine what you will experience in your reality is this:

Where your attention goes the energy flows.

This means that if you put your attention on things that make you unhappy or uncomfortable, the creative energy of the Universe will essentially flow to and through those thoughts, give them life, and poof! They become a part of your reality.

The reverse is true as well: Put your attention on that which brings you peace, comfort, hope and joy, and the creative energy of the Universe will flow through those thoughts, and bring them to life in your experience.

Your challenge and opportunity as the Ultimate Manifestor of your life is not to understand this concept. It is to actually become more and more intentional about how you direct your attention, moment by moment.

From Resisting to Redirecting

The concept is simple, but not necessarily easy. Why?

Because when we are told to “NOT” put attention on something, what do we do? We actually put our attention on it. Example: Don’t think about a pink elephant. What are you thinking about? Right.

The key then, is not to RESIST a thought that is contrary to what you wish, but to REDIRECT your thought from the “undesired” to the “desired.” What you resist persists.

So, your opportunity is to shift from resisting to redirecting your thoughts. From battling to befriending.

Example

You’d like to manifest a fulfilling romantic relationship. You’ve just had another one come to an end where you experienced a newly discovered dynamic which you dislike. You catch yourself thinking, “Ugg, it’s just one thing after another! I’ll never have a relationship!” Your attention becomes fixated on the latest unpleasant character flaw you had to deal with.” You direct a lot of energy mentally complaining and picking your ex apart. Guess what? This gives what you DON’T WANT a whole lot of energy.

Instead of resisting or battling that which frustrates you, give yourself the opportunity to seek out the best of the situation. First say, “yes” to the frustration so that it can release. (Telling yourself to get over unpleasant feelings is another form of resistance.) Then redirect your attention to positive possibilities instead of deciding this experience determines the fate of your future.

“Yes I’m frustrated. That’s okay. And now I’m even clearer about what I don’t want in a relationship which makes me even clearer about what I DO want. AND I learned that I ignored my instinct. I’ll never do that again. So, now I’m wiser and more ready for something better! As a matter of fact, the truth is that I rarely repeat the same mistake twice. I always learn something. And every relationship I have is better than the last. I’m moving in the right direction.”

Awareness is Key

In this example your attention has been redirected away from what you don’t want to what you do want. Where your attention goes the energy flows.

Being intentional about where your attention goes is truly a Way of Being. It takes practice. The more you do it, the easier it gets. And the more you do it, the better you get at letting unpleasant experiences guide you to more and deeper awareness about the thoughts and beliefs you hold.

One of the trickiest aspects of becoming more intentional is catching yourself when you’re being unintentional. In other words, our unconscious default thinking can be our greatest saboteur.

So, the key is to become AWARE of your default thinking. Once you’re aware, you can practice Recognizing the resistance and Redirecting your thoughts. The following exercise is designed to raise your awareness, so that you can effectively practice this tenet.

PREP:

Before even attempting Recognize and Redirect (R&R), take 15 minutes to sit down and consider a life goal or dream you have: Expanded Prosperity? Fulfilling Relationship? A trip to Australia? An advanced college degree? Once you’ve identified your goal or dream, make a list of every thought and feeling you usually have on the subject. I’m talking about the very human, knee-jerk reactions of doubt, insecurity and discouragement not what you think are the “right answers.”

PRACTICE:

This list of “negative default thinking” will become your list of Resistance Triggers. Now that you’re aware, every time you think one of these thoughts, allow them to TRIGGER the awareness that you have an opportunity to REDIRECT your attention intentionally.

AFFIRMATIONS:

Need a little help priming the energetic pump to practice Tenet #6? Here are a few:

• I am willing to recognize all limiting thoughts and easily redirect them toward infinite possibilities!
• I am willing to have my attention easily guided to the highest possibility under all conditions.
• I am willing to make the best of every situation no matter what!

P.S. It really is a CHOICE. What will you choose?

From the perspective of consciousness, fear is simply an illusion. It isn’t real. Yet we often feel at its mercy. Fear has power over us only because we believe in it. It is an energy that is based in thoughts that we choose to believe. However, most of the time, there is no actual threat. Think about it. How often are you afraid because something “bad” is actually happening to you? Not often. How often are you afraid because you’re thinking about something that scares you, but isn’t actually happening? Fear of the future. Fear of a possibility. Fear that the past will happen again.

Although it is important to honor our fear when it comes up (because what you resist persists), it is also important to learn how to do so without giving the fear more energy – the kind of energy and attention that causes it go grow.

So, with this in mind I’d like to propose a challenge: Practice Being Fearless. How? Pretend. I’m serious. I challenge you to try this for a month and see what happens. Now here’s the key: You can still be afraid. You may even want to practice some self talk. When the fear shows up say to yourself, “Hi Fear. Yes I see you. Thanks for sharing. And I CHOOSE this instead.” Then pretend that you have no fear. Fake it. Just do what you would do if you had no fear.

If you really take on this opportunity, you may find yourself astonished! (In a great way!)
