“UMSI has helped me to approach how I build my business and live my life from a very different perspective. Before I came to UMSI, I was the typical Type A control freak who needed to know how everything are going to happen. I was constantly in the planning mode, or “future tripping” as Sonia calls it. It was ok when I was in a corporate job managing projects, but created a very stressful state of mind when I started my business, which involves dealing with many moving parts and most of which I have no control over. When I started the UMSI program, I was stressed out and could not find satisfaction in my day-to-day life. I see the “chores” and the “work” in everything, and was not able to enjoy what was going well or my family. I was in a very contracted state, both emotionally and spiritually. I intend to keep practicing what I have learned in UMSI and apply the principle to help me manifest a life of abundance and freedom – every time I catch myself in a contractive state or my energy spiraling downward, I would pull out one of the class recordings, and good things happen. “I feel like things / energies are moving for me into the right direction. However, there has been so much movement it has been somewhat overwhelming. I feel like so many thoughts are going through my head and lots of different emotions are flying around. There have been so many things that have occurred / changed /manifested! !! There were position eliminations in my department and my position was eliminated, BUT I have the option of taking another position (in salary and title) with the company. If I choose to leave the company, I get a package worth about five months of my current salary. So this feels like an ideal situation.
