How Living Your Higher Purpose Increases Your Abundance

A common limiting belief for seekers pursuing personal fulfillment and self-actualization is that money and purpose are two separate things. In other words, "I make my money over here. But I experience meaning over there." Seekers often think they can’t make money doing what they love. However, this not only incorrect, but the erroneous line of thinking can limit us more than we realize.
The truth is:
- You CAN make money doing what you love, and
- Even if your higher purpose is NOT expressed through your work, simply knowing and owning your higher purpose will increase your abundance.
Why? Because money doesn’t come from a job, a paycheck, or a client. Money comes from one place and one place only: Source Energy. There is only ONE Source and infinite channels of abundance. And the more you can let go of your attachments and ideas about where money is "supposed" to come from, and truly open up to Source Energy delivering its infinite flow of abundance from anywhere and everywhere, THEN you’ve really begun to awaken to your true nature. It isn’t that you are meant to be prosperous. The truth is that you ARE prosperity itself. This is because there is no separation between you and Source. You ARE Source. You ARE that drop of water that is ONE with the ocean. You’re still the drop of water, but you’re also the ocean.
Your soul is the broader aspect of you that is connected to Source Energy. When you are living your purpose, you are living from your soul’s truth – fully awake and fully expressed. In other words, Source Energy is flowing through you and your life freely and abundantly. Source is All-That-Is. So, when Source Energy is flowing freely, it means that health, wealth, freedom, joy, peace – all of it – is flowing freely. However, when you are not fully owning your purpose there are usually two possible reasons: Either you’re asleep to who you are, or you’re resisting some part of yourself.
Perhaps you never knew enough to ask. Who am I? What is my purpose? If this is the case your soul may not be shining through because it is lying dormant. Maybe you are simply going through the motions; being the You, you were groomed to be, or being the You who is a product of his or her environment. Perhaps you’re afraid to be who you really are, or you judge some part of your as bad or unacceptable, or you think you can’t be who you are because you need to pay the bills. If this is the case, you are resisting aspects of yourself, which means you’re hindering the abundant flow of Source Energy through you and every aspect of your life.
Where does one begin? How do you know if you know and own your purpose? Well, it’s a bit like being in love. You’ll KNOW when you know. But here’s the thing, knowing and owning your purpose are two different things. Many people know their purpose, at least on some level, but are terrified to really own it. Sometimes they are afraid that knowing their purpose means they must DO something about it – right now! Or they simply don’t know how to go about expressing their purpose once they do own it. The great news is that you don’t have to do anything. If you know it, own it. The doing part will come later. And if you don’t even know what your purpose is? Either way, the solution is the same. BE WILLING to have your soul guide you. Declare to yourself and the Universe, "I’m willing to know and own my purpose. I’m willing to express my purpose for the highest good of all concerned." Then let it all go. Wait. Listen. And watch for signs. Your soul will guide you. It’s been waiting for you to ask all along.
