Settling her into an adult-care centre I would say is a good option. It allows her access to professional care and you to spend a quality time with her. When my late Mum was diagnosed with stomach cancer few years back, my family decided to put her into adult-care. For us, it was not so much as wanting to spend more quality time with her then but because we were all working full-time jobs and out-of-town. In my society, sending your invalid parents to an adult-care centre is frowned upon but whatever people's opinion, we knew it was for the best. I regret very much though that we did not had the chance to spend more time with her. Being the baby in my Mum's eyes, I shall cherished all the best of her with me always.
