Law of Attraction – Manifesting Prosperity Recommended Resources

By Sonia Miller | March 6, 2009

No question about it.  Money is on people’s minds.  And with our nation’s physical reality being what it is regarding unemployment and the economy, people are looking for help – not just financial, but emotional, psychological and spiritual as well.

Most of my clients, new and long-standing, are seeking support around work and money.  And, as scary as this may be for some if not most, I can see the spiritual writing on the wall.  I wish I could find Carolin Myss’ exact quote from “Entering the Castle,” but it goes something like this, “It is in times of greatest chaos for humanity that we experience greatest spiritual evolution.”

Personally, that’s what I think all of this economic challenge is about.  What used to work, doesn’t work anymore.  No longer can people continue to believe the lie: that our source of money or well-being comes from our physical reality.  It simply is not the case.  Our money does not come from a job, a paycheck, a client, a sale, an alimony check, a tax refund… these are ONLY CHANNELS.  Our money comes from Source, Divine Spirit, God, The Infinite, Creator (choose whatever name works for you).  There is only ONE SOURCE and infinite channels.

And the way to find peace, the way to find freedom, the way to ALLOW the infinite abundance that is not only your spiritual birthright, but the NATURE of life and the Universe – is to

~understand this truth,

~study and learn the basic fundamentals of prosperity, and

~practice the principles for the rest of your life.

I’m not saying it is necessarily easy, but do you have a choice?  That’s the big question people are facing today.

“What are my choices?”

a) Keep looking for a job, or a bank mortgage company, or the government to save me (Hmmm, these aren’t very reliable or encouraging options these days…)

OR

b) Lift my eyes to see higher truth… (Well, this feels really foreign, weird and unfamiliar, but…  what else can I do?)

All you have to do is put yourself on the path.  You’re not going to “get it” overnight.  It takes time and persistence to integrate spiritually-based prosperity principles into your psyche and soul at a cellular level.  But don’t let this discourage you.  The good news is that if you’ve been caught up in the things of this physical world, chances are good that you are operating from a WHOLE BUNCH OF RESISTANCE.  But, when you shift your attention even just a little bit.  When one new idea gives you just a bit of hope.  When one new understanding helps you to let go of one layer of fear.  When you finally take your attention off of one cause of worry and REDIRECT IT to new possibility – THE SHIFTS YOU EXPERIENCE CAN TRULY BE FAST AND REMARKABLE.

Where to begin?

Here’s a starter list of some of my favorite resources to begin learning, understanding and practicing spiritually oriented prosperity consciousness:

Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth

The Abundance Book by John Randolph Price (includes 40 Day Prosperity Program)

The Dynamic Law of Prosperity  by Catherine Ponder

The Emergency Handbook for Getting Money Fast – by Carole Dore

The Intensified Prosperity Workshop – by Carole Dore

I’m Rich Beyond My Wildest Dreams!  I am. I am. I am.  Thomas Pauley

And here are a few more that I haven’t read yet, but have heard good things about.  If you’ve read these and have some comments or reviews to offer, please be so kind! : )

Money and the Law of Attraction by Abraham-Hicks

The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles

Wealth Beyond Reason by Bob Doyle

I love all of Catherine Ponders books. Recently I was in a conversation with a group about our current recession and one gentleman in the conversation said “I heard there was a recession, but I am not participating in it.” Thanks for the tips they are great!
