Law of Attraction: Why You Should WANT to Feel Insecure

Dear Seeker,
You’ve heard the saying, “What you resists, persists,” right? Well, I recently enjoyed that wonderful AHA! feeling during one of my customary Big Cosmic Conversations with my walking buddy JoEllen.
We were talking about how even metaphysical tools can be used as a way to RESIST the very things those tools are designed to help us transcend.
For example, affirmations can be used to RESIST the fear that we seek to release, WHEN we use those affirmations as a way to push away the fear. Ultimately the path to releasing resistance is to ALLOW that which we are resisting.
- Allow the fear.
- Allow the grief.
- Allow the anger.
- Be present to it.
- Say yes to it.
- Honor it.
- Let it come up, come out, and release.
(Which it will do, when you embrace it rather than resist it.)
When we found ourselves exploring the different areas of life where we could practice this, JoEllen exclaimed, “So, BE financially insecure!” I thought, “Of course! DUH!”
Do you resist financial insecurity? Do you resist feeling insecure in a relationship? Do you resist the insecurity of not knowing?
These are ALL ways of focusing on what we don’t want. And you know what happens then… where your attention goes the energy flows. And where the energy flows we give life to the object of our attention!
When you resist anything, whether in your inner world or your outer world, the only thing that can exist is the battle. When you let go of the battle and welcome ALL of it, you welcome ALL that is, which is Source, and the natural well-being that abounds in, as, and through you and your life!
I invite you to read on and let yourself notice what you are resisting in your own life, and how that may be blocking YOUR experience of the well-being and abundance that is here for you right now!
