TIP #2 – Staying Positive When Bad Things Happen

Sometimes you’ll be coasting through life when suddenly something bad happens. You might feel sucker-punched by the Universe, or that no matter what you do, things just won’t go your way. Rather than getting caught up in a negative reaction, which will only serve to give you more of the “bad experience,” practice the discipline of the “yes, and” statement. Say to yourself, “Yes, my co-worker just screwed me again, and I’m ready to find ways to enjoy my job!” “Yes my back is acting up again, and I’m so grateful for the past pain-free month! The ‘yes’ energy releases resistance and the ‘and’ statement redirects you toward what you want.
